August 2020 UW Medicine/ Northwest Hospital and Medical Center Lymphedema Support Group Meeting

On August 8, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m, come learn from Sherry Lebed Davis, founder of Healthy-Steps (formerly called the Lebed Method) and hear about its history and purpose.? Healthy-Steps can reduce many of the symptoms of Lymphedema by reducing fluid build-up in effected tissues, leaving participants with improved mobility, increased energy, and a more positive attitude.? Healthy-Steps is an exercise and movement program done to great music so get ready to sample some fun moves.
From 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Vivian Foxx, MSW, LICSW, our Facilitator will lead a group discussion where we can share our stories, experiences, and thoughts. Welcome to all Lymphedema patients, caregivers, therapists, medical professionals, or others involved in Lymphedema care.
