Part I Presentation on Lower Body Neuropathy
Becci Parsons is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practioner and dancer with 40 years of experience in the movement arts. She teaches community Awareness Through Movement classes and workshops while maintaining a private practice in Seattle. She is a highly sought after teacher, and is a part-time faculty member in the Dance Department at Cornish College of the Arts. Her work is dedicated to the “mindful exploration of human vitality, grace and elegance through the study of self in motion.”
This presentation is one of two presentations that Becci will be sharing with our group on neuropathy—the disease or dysfunction of one or more peripheral nerves, typically causing numbness or weakness.
Part I will focus on Lower Body Neuropathy from a Feldenkrais and movement perspective. In the September meeting, Becci will return with Part II that will focus on Upper Body Neuropathy.
