Join us for our Lymphedema Self-Care Class – May 30th presented through ZOOM Video Conferencing
Interested!! We encourage you to attend, You will learn to care for your lymphedema and to understand how the Lymphatic system works. Join our community: of those with lymphedema, medical professionals certified in lymphedema care, and guest speakers with training in special programs that enhance lymphedema self-care.
This class is taught by Lynn Fass (Registered Nurse & Certified Lymphedema Therapist), Julie Venn, (LMT, Certified Lymphedema Therapist and Garment Fitter), Diana Kincaid (CDT, LMT), and Meryl Shier who teaches Vital Moves through Cancer Lifeline.
Class begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m.
We will break for a lunch break around 12:30 or 1 p.m. After lunch, lymphatic movement & exercise will be discussed and followed by a short demonstration of the Healthy Steps program, lymphatic movement to music.
Online Sign-in starts at 9:45 a.m. which gives you time to view reference books and various samples of compression garments which will be scrolling on the screen prior to the class begins and get settled into your favorite spot. The instructors will begin with their own short introduction and then invite others to do the same.
